This week Dave and Wendy answer the following question from Troy via email:
“I’ve been watching Endurance Hour for some time now, and it’s very helpful and encouraging! I’m 52, last year I was way over weight and terrible condition. Last year I began my workouts. I’ve been swimming 3x/wk for a year now. Started biking and lost 65 lbs. I did a sprint Triathlon at the end of July. I now live in Oklahoma and have stated Joe Friel’s, “Your first triathlon”. My question is, should I stick with that and just do an another sprint? I’m a pretty competitive guy and I enjoy the training. I can’t seem to find the right fit, don’t feel like I’m a complete beginner especially for the swim part. Just trying to fit this for my age, weight and health. I really wanted to shoot for an Olympic Triathlon this summer.” – Troy
